Originally formed in 1980 as The Masters Corporation, an architectural design/build company, Sustainable Environment Associates Corporation (SEAS) emerged in 1995 as a sustainable development research, design, and consulting enterprise, focusing on climate change solutions. International and national clients range from government, corporate, non-profits, and private individuals. SEAS created Pangaeon in 1998 in order to optimize its network of global expertise across multiple disciplines.
Paul Bierman-Lytle is President of Sustainable Environment Associates Corp. Paul received his M.Arch. degree from Yale University School of Architecture and is currently a licensed architect in California, Connecticut, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. Paul has served as adjunct professor at Yale University School of Forestry, UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Technische Universitat Braunschweig (Germany), and Dunwoody College of Technology. Paul was chairman of HRH Prince of Wales International Hotel Environment Initiative (London), USGBC Technical Advisor, International WELL Building Institute Advisory Group member on Water, and is a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C since 2001. Paul has lectured internationally, featured on ABC “Good Morning America”, PBS, CNN, BEYOND 2000 (Australia), ZDF (German) television. As a prolific writer/researcher, Paul’s topics range from environmental building products and technologies, indoor air quality, halophyte ecosystems, natural capital economics, climate change trends, architectural building sciences, refugee camp planning, adventure destinations and eco-tourism development.
